From the pages of IDW’s comic books, USA Today has just revealed Fan-Built Combiner Victorion! In the article, Combiner Hunters writer Mairghread Scott discusses the combiner and the one-shot comic itself. There’s also some input from Hasbro Transformers design manager John Warden, and the individual components of Victorion finally have their alt-modes revealed: two race cars, two helicopters, a motorcycle and a rescue truck. The article also briefly touches on issue 50 and something called “Conquerers” – apparently the next storyline in IDW:
“The Transformers universe is about to get an influx of girl power and a giant new personality.
Six female robots that team up to form the massive Combiner character Victorion debut next month in IDW’s Transformers: Combiner Hunters comic book, and they’re a motley crew made tighter by surviving pretty much the worst environment possible.”

Check that, and a preview of the Combiner Hunters comic (spoilers!), out after the break and let us know your thoughts on the Fan-Built Combiner!

i hope the giftset won't be tru exclusive
calvin0
ditto to that, made it a gift set would save alot of searching time.
Robogeek28
I prefer it actually.
Thundershot
I think she'll be a gift set because it's unlikely they'll have a deluxe wave with two helicopters much less two with similar colors. Ditto for the cars.
Autovolt 127
I'd be ok with Victorion as a gift set.
T-Hybrid
They probably wanted to reveal/debut Victorion ahead of SDCC since Combiner Hunters will debut there. (At least figure wise).
As far as the toys go, we are really only missing one…her left leg. Though admittedly I can't tell if the visible leg is Breakdown or Dead End since they have similiar limb modes.
I do wonder how Victorion is going to work in terms of distribution. Maximus is Wave 4, Bruticus is Wave 1 of 2016. Is Victorion going to be a side launch/ or gift set?
Though having a whole wave of female figures on shelves for the holiday season would be pretty cool.

Cant wait for official pics of Victorion.
Bring it.
Thunderthruster
TFCC Slipstream, is as the name suggests, an exclusive, so i personally don't count it.
Waiting for more info or pics of Victorion is becoming teadious. I hate this leak a little bit of info ever so often culture. Its damned annoying.
Bountyan
The TFCC Slipstream is hot garbage compared to this one.
calvin0
yeah, prime slipstream doesnt look too hot when compare to the new slipstream. plus not everyone can afford prime slipstream (before you think i'm being cheap, i got prime slipstream in my army).
oh well, your lost.

Everytime I see this thread pop up I hope that we're getting some actual pictures and I keep end-up being disappointed.

Well Menasor was never stable because Swindle botched the mind meld, and in Combiner Wars he had two new components replacing Wildrider. The Enigma was probably the only thing that kept him functional to any extent.
Stratolily
Yeah, she's awesome! I really like her
DrOblivian
I agree entirely and sincerely hope that there is more to it than that. Or at least an explanation or some backstory as to WHY the "they know each other really well" is the reason. but for now that's all we've got. its a shame that the info we DO have so far is giving us a bad first impression.
Rodimus Prime
The "They know each other so well" is more of an excuse than anything. I understand it's still early and vague, but I'm hoping it's not another Drift.
Slingshot
Same here. I need those three as well.
DrOblivian
Damn i knew i was forgetting something. no i didn't forget about Menasor. Anyway, the same problems would still apply. while the Stunticons have worked together for quite along time, they don't necessarily like one another, and as far as i know the rest of them all hate Motormaster with a burning passion. Along with the fact the 5 of them are already psychos isn't going to help. The enigma might have fixed the tech portion of their combining ability, is can only do so much for their states of mind.
Also i think that its safe to assume that the Victorybots (or whatever their team name is going to be, i happen to be partial to the Valkyriebots ) are going to be portrayed as a band of sisters who would do anything for one another. Which will undoubtedly help with the mind meld. As well of the fact that they may actually be an ancient combiner from around galvatron's time, meaning they have experience too.
i know the band of sisters and ancient combiner things are speculation, but if true, would only help their combined state of mind rather than hurt it.
Neither Computron or Predaking exist in IDW yet so i was not really thinking of those when i said this. Predaking is basically perfect, ill give you that one, but Computron not so much.
Computron while being the most intelligent combiner, is not the most cohesive. the catch with Compurtron though is MUCH slower than the rest of them as a result. Every decision he makes must first be put to a round of internal voting between the individual technobots before any real meaningful choice is made at all.
Its nearly impossible for him to make split second decisions. it could take him nearly 30 seconds of getting wailed on by another combiner before he would even know how to respond. His actual response might be very profound and the perfect counter to the situation at hand, but most of the time his actions are too little too late. The inability to respond during combat can mean life or death regardless of how smart one is.

So, if anyone is going to SDCC and gets ahold of the Combiner Hunters Set and wants to sell it at it's going price, let me know. That trio of Femmes look badass.
GPTF01
yup menasor was in IDW before combiner wars
also Victorion is not the first team to be able to work very well when merged. computron and predaking are both very cohesive when combined
