I personally don’t recall seeing this elsewhere. Japanese toy site Juusankaidan has images for a Japanese Kreon Capsule Vending Machine. They posted a detailed gallery of the G1 style Bumblebee that came from the machine, as well as a few images of the vending machine itself. According to the site, these popped up in February and are priced at 200 yen each (about $1.61 USD).
You can read on for the images. If they’ve been reported on before, then please enjoy this refresher.

Something we will never see here because we don't have $2 and $5 coins. We only have quarters, and it would take 8 of them to buy a $2 Kreon. The machine would fill with quarters long before it sold all it's product, and would stop working.
(Yes, we have dollar coins, but they are not common, you won't find kids walking around with them in their pockets to spend on impulse buys)

I love these wee guys, but why are they always in vending machines, blind bags (which I detest) or in boxes filled with bricks I don't have the room to display
if they sold these on card they would make a fortune!

Yeah… and beer. You think about it, about 10 bucks in change and you're set for a lonely night at home.

Because Japan.
They have vending machines filled with used girls' panties.

love the idea

I grabbed whole cases of kreons when bbts had them up for a bargain of 22.98 a 32 pack case and a regular 24 pack case for the same, plus the 5 packs of top teir characters for 9.99 and I have yet to open them but I really like Takara's paint apps on these. Leave it to Takara to use more paint for a figure that costs a dollar sixty one USD then Hasbro uses on some of the 16 dollar deluxes

Why does Japan get the good vending machines?
FigureGunplaFan
I'm disappointed to the fact that TakTomArts used the Custom Kreons (translucent helmet, and alternate weapons) for the main 4.
Autovolt 127
That's a pretty good idea Gashapons Kreons.
Omegatron
I'm just imagining some schlub BBTS has paid standing in front of the vending machine, putting in a bunch of coins, and filling a backpack or duffel bag with these.
astrocreep777
They do and it looks like only those with custom sets have the trabslucent parts.
RMM
I believe BBTS has these for sale.
astrocreep777
Right forgot about the custom sets but I know some of these charaters didnt have custom sets but than again it could only be the ones you listed that had custom sets already.
Mystic Metal
I believe the clear pieces were available in the Custom Kreo sets.
Noideaforaname
I think only Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream have clear parts… and even then because they were taken from the "Customizer" sets, sans any of the actual Customizer gear.
Supertron
I love Japan.
astrocreep777
I seen some of these sale on ebay but they were just the normal release. I didnt know there was translucent plastic verisons of the charaters as well. Damn I wish I knew a site that was selling those versions.
