Several of our Illinois based members are reporting that they have found the Transformers Age of Extinction Generations Deluxe Lockdown figure at US retail. Lockdown comes in a Wave 2 revision case so for now, he’s the only new figure in that assortment on shelves.
He’s been spotted at Target stores all across Illinois, including Hillside, and Alonquin. So if you’re in Illinois, be sure to keep an eye out for Lockdown and make this vicious hunter your prey!

Well those Lockdown figures had better be on the shelves here in New York State before next year otherwise I am ordering off the internet

New to the forums, is there any kind of database, or a poll put together, identifying which figures are available in which regions, or possible store excusives?
I have the Deluxe up to wave 2, just looking for lockdown. Hasbro.com has little info on anything, only shows some of the deluxe figures and battlers. Lame

If I can't get him for 10-16. I would prefer to spend 30 something on the Takara release from places like Robot Kingdom or TF Source before I give some scalper chump my money.

People are listening this on eBay for $50+. Please don't give in to that. Ridiculous. It's an okay figure at best.

I'm glad most stores are charging 10 again for deluxe figures instead of fifteen

Depends.
Most deluxes, regardless of line, are going right now for roughly 10$. Voyagers are at bout roughly 20$.
Especially since nothing has really moved from the shelves since the atrocious "One-Step Changers", "Flip and Change", "Titan", and poorly painted Leader Classes hit them.
My Target and Walmarts are still stuck on wave one of the stuff.
There's still plenty of Whirls and Rhinox at my Walmart too…
On a different note, I feel a bit squeemish that the First Lockdown to be posted on Amazon is at 38 U$D. Goes to show how abusive some people can be.

How much are Generation figures at Target? Haven't been their in a while.

I was able to pick up both Lockdown and Drift at my Target in IL at a store that this thread references. Imagine my surprise! Not only that, but Target is having a buy one toy, get one 40% off! So I got both for just under $16.
As for the quality of the two, Drift is by far the better toy. Great proportionate robot mode. Lockdown is merely okay. His forearms are kind of flat against the car door parts. Lots of movie randomness to his robot mode that in the end makes him look bland in comparison to Drift and other bots. Sad that the main bad guy in the movie gets so little in both the design and marketing departments.
Oh well, good luck to everyone else.

I'll use HTS eventually if I have no other choice but I prefer to buy things in store. I used to/still do a little collect Kamen Rider and Sentai toys and part of the reason I started collecting Transformers was because I hated always having to wait so long for packages. (Well actually that's why I started playing/collecting MTG again, but same idea). Plus if they ever show up at Walmart I can get them for $10 instead of 15 plus shipping.
But thanks for the heads up anyway!

Does putting Kreon Lockdown's mask on Deluxe Lockdown work?

Those are both listed on HasbroToyShop now. RatTrap is already currently sold out…

Same deal here. Both Wal-Marts in my city have around 100 one step and power attacker figures shelfwarming and won't be ordering more AOE toys until those move…which they won't. In their eyes, all AOE toys are equal. They don't realize if they put Generations Hound, Galvatron, Drift, Slash, Lockdown, etc. on the shelf that they would sell like crazy.

I just got back from Target and they had no AoE Generation deluxes. A lot of the flip changer and power punch stuff, though. And they still had several of those smaller TFs that came with minicon type TFs ("Anniversary" or something?). A lot of empty pegs where the AoE Generation deluxes used to be…

I feel your pain, dude. I haven't talked with anyone at the store but I'm reasonably sure my Walmart isn't going to be getting anything new in anytime soon. The shelf is chocked full of everything wave one, not to mention all of the toys that must have been moved into the back when the TMNT toys released.
I'm never going to see those Beast Wars repaint 2-packs am I? sigh…
At least some of the regular generations figures started moving. I think they only have a case and a half left now. Maybe I'll actually get to see Rattrap/Tankor. Maybe

So, I went hunting today for this guy.
Hit the local Walmart(there's two in my city) and the local Target. So far no sign of this guy. I asked the guy out in back and some managers, Walmart said due to the lack of sales they won't be receiving any new shipment any time soon and Target said only to restock what is already absent.
Kind of sucks that Hasbro went and made something as atrocious as one-step changers and flip and change along with those Titans that no one will obviously spend cash on…
Gonna go hunting again later today to the town over at their Targets and Toys R Us.

I'm eager to get Generations Lockdown seeing as how he was the big bad villain of TF4.

If you didn't start your reply by calling me irrational, you might have had the good sense to actually ask for clarification. The "irrational hyperbole", as you so eloquently mistook it, was an exaggeration of a basic concept: limited number of factories/resources with a definite focus on kid-friendly toys and NOT adult-aimed toys. What? Doesn't make sense? Think about how many 1-step toys clog the shelves versus how many Generations toys are on shelves. Equal numbers?
If you think ANY sort of equality/balance is in place when producing these toys, maybe you should say so rather than jump the gun and laugh away my amusing quip as idiotic!
I feel like you won the internets with this comment.
No, you're right to rant. It's Hasbro "simplifying" things: GENERATIONS = all adult-aimed toys, regardless of whether or not it fits with a more classical interpretation of "toys from previous Generations" – well, that's what "Generations" means to me. It evoked more of a "toys from yesteryear" vibe than simply a "toy for OLDER generations".
That's a really good analysis there… now that you mention it, I can totally see it! LockDestro FTW!
I thought about doing that… but it seemed a TAD unethical. For all you know, you screwed over a possible collecting buddy, locally. But then again, a lot of you guys are pretty antisocial, so maybe I'm the only one who feels bad for taking the last collector's toy on the shelf? (How do you live with that guilt? Seriously? Cause it's hard for me, personally. )

Crap!! And I was in Chicago all last weekend till Tuesday!! Right up the road from a Target at that!! That would have been a nice graduation present.
