If your collection is in need of “a new army,” we got the figure for you! The massive 20+ inch Stomp & Chomp Grimlock figure has been spotted at US retail at a Toys R Us in Huntington Beach. This one step changer will run approximately $79.99 and comes with a smaller sized Optimus Prime figure that can help activate weapons, lights, and sounds!

Not gonna lie, Stomp n' Chomp will be on my doorstep tomorrow. My 3 year old will flip his lid when he sees this bad boy. He has all of the released one step changers, so this will be fun for US to play around with.

Aw, my bad man. I did search for in hand out of box images here first, I must've missed it. I switched the original link with yours.

Not my thing, my daughter would probably pee her panties if she saw this though. If it funds more generations figures, I hope it sells like hotcakes to all the kids.

TFW2005 had a photo review of this toy first (okay, only by a few minutes, but still first), with a lot more photos (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-feedback/992829-aoe-stomp-chomp-grimlock.html), including a number of size comparison photos… so no need to encourage people to visit another site if it isn't necessary
Okay, it's also a shameless plug … but a very comprehensive review nonetheless posted here for my fellow TFW members.

Beautiful, but at that price its a shelf warmer for sure.
WishfulThinking
Repaint it black and purple and call him Trypticon….I MIGHT buy the toy then…

I don't think it's worth $80. It's probably meant to be one of those big item Christmas gifts.

Well, I said and a few mods, not just paint.
I've already modded the more leader sized one step/quick change Grimmy so I see a relatively painless process of giving him articulation as they transform roughly the same.

I bet kids would love it but at 80 bucks. for what it is, this toy ain't for me

$80! I'd rather buy another Generations Metroplex instead of this. I heard his Dino mode is the size of Metroplex's leg, so this figure is huge. But not worth it, especially the non articulated mini Prime it comes with, it should've came with a 1-step Prime.

Say what now?
Only US$79.99 that's should be just almost Php3,500.00 when converted but the actual selling price of it here in our God-forsaken country is a whopping Php5,999.75. Only in the Philippines where the corruption is so widespread, WHAT A SCAM!!!

The size and mini Prime are nice. But looking at it, I think it's deformed enough that it might take more than a good paintjob to get it looking close to how it should.
But I could be wrong.

I'm gonna wait for this guy to go on sale ala beastfire predaking! I get the feeling this is what's gonna happen with this one!

Hell, I'm losing my shit over this. *big 40 yr old kid present*
With some paint and a few mods, this guy will sit proudly among my collection (when I'm not playing with him anyways). The only thing that bugs me is that there aren't any other of the Dinobots in scale with it, dooming it to sit alone.

Here's a bunch of in hand pics of him next to various transformers sizes out of box.

The legend exists.
I'll have to be honest..of course it's a big lump of overpriced plastic, but I'm looking at that Toy Fair demo, and he's actually pretty cool. Transformation is super-simple, but looks awesome, the pop out guns are cool, and the 'bite' attack motion looks wicked.
Expensive, but if I were a 7 year old kid I'd go NUTS if I got this for my birthday.

They have been on the shelves at TRU Alhambra earlier than that sighting.
Electro Rush
Like I mentioned in some other thread, the intended audience for this thing, aka kids, will lose their shit over this. I'm sure this will be on many kid's wish list for this Christmas.

Maybe if it actually looked like the movie
