Hasbro has sent out a promotional press box filled with Transformers goodies to various media outlets yet again, marking the final push towards Transformers Age of Extinction. They have done this for each previous movie as well. Each time they are filled with all different types of Transformers themed product related to the film, mostly from early waves. Nothing unique, other than the kick ass box. We’ve got ours, and done up a quick photo shoot of the box and it’s contents. Check it all out after the break!
UPDATE: We’ve uploaded a couple shots with the press boxes from the other 3 movies.

is there a place/store where someone can buy these boxes

That box is probably the best packaging I've ever seen on transformers figures.

Great share! That Optimus trailer box reminds me of the cardboard MP Convoy trailer of yore.

I think they(at least I am) are referring to the black/brownish roughed up packaging the of the box the figures are sitting in versus the generic red and white packaging they are at retail in.

What are people going on about? The packaging use for the individual figures ARE the ones you see in retail; at least its what I've seen at Target.
Also, which media outlets get these kinds of things? Just Transformers/toy related ones or is it more wide-spread?

If this isn't this month's loot crate someone will be receiving a strongly worded letter.

I'm with everybody else, why couldn't they use this packaging on the retail figures? I really hope some folks ask the tough questions at Botcon this year to Hasbro as to some of the decisions they have made with the recent lines.

Now why couldn't the regular toys get that kind of packaging?

Updated with a shot of the other 3 press boxes. Just so future Movie Completionists can know these things are out there.

That's awesome, that box is beautiful!

Interesting…I think it's better to get the toys individual just in case some kids or collectors does not like what was included in the box.

Sometimes I wish I owned a media outlet so I could get cool movie goodies.
Either way there is some nice stuff in that box but there is also some stuff I probably won't be buying from age of extinction. Such as the one step changers. There nice but there not my kind of thing, I think my nephew would enjoy them as he wouldn't have to ask me to transform them.
