Following up on our earlier reported Age Of Extinction toy sightings, we have another confirmation of Deluxe AOE figures being purchased at US retail. The first wave of Generations Deluxes, which include the Dinobots Slug and Scorn, and the Autobot Crosshairs were purchased at a K-Mart in Oregon. Other reported purchases have also been recorded in California.
It looks like the street date will continue to be broken, so again, happy hunting TFW!
G1 Collector
The Deluxe figures WILL come down to $9.99 at Wal-mart. They do every time in about 2 months of street date. Not paying the $15 retail price on yet even smaller figures then the past movie figures.
TF1&2, figures were the same in scale, TF3, dropped down a lot in size, yet same price. TF4, same small size as last release, and could be even smaller. Still charge the same price. Yes, Economy is bad, but these things get made for so cheap as it is. Not sure how I feel about all of the colors they are using too, looks like G2 Dinobots.
Just saying!
LegendAntihero
Did I say Scorn. I meant the guy who wasn't a dinobot
grimlockgravez
Scorn is great in dino mode, most movable head in dino mode ever, he will be perma dino mode me thinks.
grimlockgravez
Picked up Scorn, and Slug at Toysrus in Greater Detroit area. Went to different Toysrus they wouldn't sell them and took down the display.
LegendAntihero
I'm excited for the Dinobots but I'm not excited for Scorn
Shortwave
Meh i'll see what Tesco gets.

So true. It really comes down to who the manager is and feels in the end. That KMart is the ONLY one in my area so looks that I'll have to wait. Is what it is I guess. But at lease I was able to look at them for a bit.
dorfsquest
True, but it's all about the thrill of the hunt!
Thundershot
I found them at the kmart in austintown Ohio…
They had the deluxes and the flip change Prime and Grimlock, and the smaller construct-bots.
I grabbed Scorn and Slug.
They came up flagged as not meeting the street date yet. I told the cashier there were a bunch more. The manager came over and put in a class control number and they were mine.
Definitely pretty cool. Scorn's rubber tail is a pain to get into place in Dino mode, but otherwise I'm happy. I can't wait to get the other Dinos!

You know..for all the sightings that have gone on across the US and what not I was hoping we'd hear someone finding the wave 2 deluxes or voyagers by now, I mean both DOTM and ROTF has the first two waves in at release but, eh maybe it's still too early to say.
here's hoping though.

Found them at my local Kmart and they would not even ring up. Manager was called over and took them to put back in the back along with the ones I left on the pegs. He was cool about it so was no big deal. Not like we aren't going to see these EVERYWHERE in the next couple weeks time anyway.
Mudslide
That's good. I didn't want to set foot on the one Kmart around here. It's depressing, because I can remember how thriving the store was back in the 80's and 90's before wallymart came into dominance.
LegendAntihero
That's good news. I hope it means they'll pop up at my Walmart soon.
gawddammit
Stores reserve the right to deny service to anyone for any reason. So no, they don't HAVE to sell you anything. Technically.
axl6533
i would have told that jackass i wasn't going to leave without them thats what id do
demonicvenom07
I found all 3 of these figures at one of my local Kmart stores today but the manager told me he couldn't sale them until May 17 and so I didn't get them. Isn't it a rule or something that once something is out on shelves to sale, it has to be sold to the costumer ???? Just wanted to know some of yall opinions on this.
Dachande
Running around all over creation for the off-chance a store might have something that'll be EVERYWHERE in two weeks is kind of silly.
EmperorDinobot
I came all the way here for nothing.
Dachande
The Kmart manager I spoke to today said they received an e-mail from corporate saying to adhere to the street date and immediately pull any stock that's on the shelves. Basically, they're aware some stores sold product before the street date and are trying to do damage control.
Oh well, a couple more weeks to wait isn't a big deal.
