Transformers Age of Extinction toys are supposed to be released on May 17th, 2014. Some form of online preorder event before that. As reported earlier today, Wal-Mart stores in the USA are starting to get their shipments of AoE toys, presumably to hold in waiting for that 5/17/14 date. But, of course, that has been ignored in at least one store so far. TF4 AoE toys are officially in the wild as of today. Couple that with the slew that are on eBay, coming from Chinese sellers, Canadian sellers, and other sources – if you want AoE toys you can probably get them right now. Check the pic after the break.

Good Times, Good Times.

Exactly. And also: Go to the customer service desk to make the request. Then they call back to have someone look, and the attitude of the guy in the back seems to be (often) "Hey, if the customer service desk wants it, who am I to point out a street date."

Spotted AOE Grimlock in Missouri (Columbia). Have to agree with those who say (short of the feet) this is a better representation of Grimlock than either the Voyager or the Leader.
Chaos Muffin
I remember how exciting it was in 2007 when the first movie toys started trinkling out and Bumblebee was hard to find.
JDK
Definitely. If you look at him and don't think about posing him he's pretty dynamic and imposing, with a fuller silhouette than the voyager or leader. It's kind of funny, they went for the playskool transformation but the sculpt is not dumbed down from the on-screen design at all.
Yep, it kills me that the toe spike is back there but there's no joint to put it in front.
Mewtwo
Don't you have the legs mistransformed? Pretty sure the single toe is supposed to go in the front not the 3 toes for dino mode.

Power Attackers have been sighting, in case you are interested.

Noideaforaname
Did they really give him those curled boot toes but no way for them to be the proper feet?
LegendAntihero
Grimlock looks awesome despite the lack of articulation
MechaV
Not bad for the price point.
JDK
Only in the arms, but the arms are actually insultingly well articulated compared to the rest of the body: Dino arms swivel 360 degrees, bicep swivel, and an elbow joint that does about 90 degrees.
Tail pieces move around to facilitate transformation. They can be placed up behind the shoulders, they can hang behind the legs, or they can be re-joined to form a tail. The transformation does use the joint the tail is attached with and swiveling it can activate the automorph.
Otherwise, he's a brick!
HeroicC300
The mere fact that a Prime Predaking was used it awesome.
I demand that when someone gets a Voyager Grim we see him facing off against BH Voyager Predaking!
SPLIT LIP
Universal elbows at first glance.
MechaV
He looks better than the leader class.
Any articulation on that thing?
JDK
Any of those helpful? I can compare to other figs if you have requests.
TrueNomadSkies
Pretty sure London Drugs of all places was the only store in my are to have DOTM stuff out by the release date hah.
Sportimus
You all who are finding these are lucky! My Walmarts, Targets, and TRU all SUUUUUUUCK. May 17 may be the street date, but all my area stores won't have them out untl much later. Argh! I'm left with BBTS…again. At least I can count on them.
EpicTransformer
Can you do size comparisons?
JDK
This didn't include a purchase. The "news" in this thread is that they can be checked out.
Again, I also posted in that thread, but the topic was a sighting, not a purchase. People were asking if it could be purchased.
Ah, nice! Two days ago! I pretty much stick to TFW and various Facebook groups.
Like I said, if the mods don't consider this to be a separate piece of news, I hope the thread will be deleted shortly.
