By way of Alfes2010 on Twitter and Autobase Aichi on Facebook, we bring you a look at the finale of the Transformers Go! DVD animation. This CGI / Cel animation series has been exclusive to Japanese publications TV Magazine and TV Boy.
In this final episode, the fourth episode of the Shinobi Volume which comes with the April edition of TV Magazine, the Samurai and Shinobi teams join forces to face the combined might of the five Predacons. This episode also features the debut of the powerful combination formed by the leaders of the Samurai and Shinobi teams, Kenzan and Gekisomaru, and Optimus Exprime – Daigekisou!
Check out some screen captures of the finale attached to this post.

There might be a lot of collectors here whom don't like the animation or possibly the combined modes but I like them a lot.
RedWolf
Probably never. These episodes are essentially 12 minute commercials for toys.
LegendAntihero
Will Hasbro ever dub the show?
TubbyChasis
Now now, Energon had one thing going for it – the mouths of the robots moved.
And by exaggerating proportions, do you mean the CGI only, or both the 2D and CG animation?
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if Japan made a TF Anime that used 2D robots (and I stress the 2D part). Though I have to wonder, since most Anime are either just adaptations or are made to promote whatever manga they were originally adapted from. Does that mean Japan should just stop making animation?
H.E.X.-BRAVE
you know whats funny? the first time a certain somebody saw the promo for the toys along with the anime, they only say (the entire of) japan should be banned from making TF toys & cartoons all together no matter what…… or robot anime whatsoever…..
the sad thing is this isn't even a TV show, only a short direct to video freebie toy commercial with a storyline while those RAGE fagboys just outright say it "this japan's TF cartoon tv show!!! bla bla bla gay!!!" uh yeah, TakaraTomy should just abandon the TF francise & sell it entirely to Hasbro without the mechanical designers involved anymore……….
Underwear
For every episode it was just a 12 mins commercial that's all to promote the Tf Go! Toys.

Optimus died in Predacons Rising.
In Shinobi episode 4 and Samurai episode 5 still in his Hunter form he was monitoring what is happening to both teams and noticing Crimson Dragotron about to curbstomp both teams. Optimus returns to Earth in his energy dragon form and protects both teams. In Samurai he scanned a train. (The timeline isn't clear which happened first Shinobi or Samurai.)
If Optimus just returned to Earth without that scene of him monitoring from Cybertron then it can be argued that Optimus got a new body after uniting with the the core of Cybertron.

Optimus EXprime's tech spec suggests it is a sequel to Predacons Rising.
RedWolf
After season 2 finale which not a cliffhanger.

So it's over? I thought it had just been on a hiatus.
Still, basic though it was by anime standards, it did provide a bullet train Triple-Changing Optimus Prime.
But I wonder how it ends though…
Flexx Ark
So when did all this take place in conjunction with Transformers Prime?
Feralstorm
So, does everyone die?
H.E.X.-BRAVE
so we need Masterpiece versions of the figures now?
Kylehudson14
I know a lot of ppl here dont like the animation or possibly the combined modes (proportions), but I like them. Especially those combined modes, just wish the actual figures' proportions were like that.
Gaokaiser
Um…why, WHY you hate "kids anime" !!? Go! is enjoyable. And, they're really enjoyable. Especially, Danball Senki & Yokai Watch!!

You know, as questionable as it was (boy was it) And considering that it's only five 11 minute episodes, making it a total of just under an hour. (An hour too long?) I really wouldn't have objected to having it aired here as like a weekend one-shot special or something. (Really?) I mean, sure it is what it is. (It sure is.) But the toys are already made, and the episodes are finished, so all you'd be needing is a quick dub job and a little creative writing to have it mesh into TF: Prime more and it's good to go. (Define "good"?) I mean, it's only an hour and it would allow of a little more time for the next series creative team to put some polishes on the next show.
Sure, I'm not exactly clamoring for it either, and I'm patient to wait until the next series… But if they did, I wouldn't be objectionable to it.
Shockwave9227
TF: Go! was boring anyways.
I wonder if Japan will ever get TFP season 3?
RedWolf
So Go Prime and the repaints are not going to be in the show huh?
Too bad I was hoping for a twist being a sixth Legend Disc.
TacticalBacon
Ending already? Huh.
Also, IMO, the animation is just like Energon's. Always exaggerating proportions and having that cel-shaded CGI thing going on.
