Phenotype
Your comments indicate that you haven't actually listened to his music.
The bottom line is this: if you don't like his music that's fine, everyone has different taste, but don't judge someone based on their hair, judge them based on the quality of their work.

Sorry but I just had to chime in here for a sec to tell you that you are insane if you think Celldweller does dubstep.
SpinalCord
Dubstep is the furthest thing from rock, and he's not really a star either if he's not in the general public's eye. And this hair is emo, which again, isn't rockstar status… liberty spikes are rock. He looks like a 15-year-old who masturbates with sandpaper… it's cool to have a unique style, but this is about as mall-punk one could fucking get.
Purple Heart
I hope something like Venus is in there….Id be so happy….you don't even know!
But i'm glad you check him out!
Nemisispath
So is the soundtrack gonna be dubstep or are the transformers gonna blare out dubstep as they transform? Either way I'm not very enthused about this…
Phenotype
He's a rockstar. That's what rockstar's should look like.
A rockstar that looks like a rockstar and not an average guy?? Madness!
Not sure why so many of you are surprised that he has a "look". Most of your favorite artists have a "look".
If you're not confident that Celldweller can do sound design for the film I highly recommend looking up "Soundtrack for the Voices in my Head." It's a series of instrumental works for films he's done.
LegendAntihero
What's with that guy's hair cut? He looks like he works at Hot Topic
Tyrant
Been listening to this guy since his Argyle Park and Circle of Dust days. Crazy happy he's involved with this now. I think he's a good match.
SpinalCord
Music and hair is garbage… so over this fad. Bring back real instruments and classic cuts, please
tonyformer
I have decided to educate myself with his music and boy was i missing out. I have listened to about 4 hours worth of his mixes and man I really am excited to hear his musical influence in TFs AOE. I really hope he does some tracks for a few of the more epic battles in the movie and or chase scenes

I don't think this is a "sneak peak" as much as it is Celldweller fooling around. I think they were just playing with the TF movie's sound machine and not really making sounds for the movie. The News title is a bit misleading.
Vulcan
I started listening to Celldweller about 9 years ago. There was a web toon on Newgrounds called "Xombie" that featured some of his songs.
EnergonWaffles
Well knowing the kind of sounds/music I like…I'm thrilled!
caitlindevi
Actually i think Celldweller may be a good fit for the sound track…better than sodding linken park at any rate
bumblebee22
The first 1:30 may not have been for the movie but honestly all I could think of was lockdown using a drill on Optimus while he is captured
bariprime
Celdweller? What is this 2004?
Afterburner
Yikes is all I have to say.

1:30 reminds me of the Joker's theme from The Dark Knight:
Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard – Why So Serious? (The Dark Knight Soundtrack) – YouTube
Which is a good sign I guess.
