2005 Boards member PoweredConvoy has shared an image of a new Transformers Go! promotional poster with us. The poster gives us a full body look at the new Optimus EX Prime – the Optimus Prime of the Transformers Go! saga, who can transform into a bullet train or a dragon, and can also combine with Kenzan and Gekisomaru to form a more powerful robot. This image also reveals that EX Prime will wield a giant two-bladed weapon similar to the one used by Sentinel Prime in Transformers Dark of the Moon. Check it out and see what you think.

You are right as per the part of "Copy and paste for the most part", too few characters in the show,is a low budget anime after all.
BraveMax
Incidentally… This is actually a page from one of this month's kids magazines. Either TV Magazine or TV-Kun.
RedWolf
Overall Autobot leader but the Samurai and Shinobi teams are autonomous. Like Optimus Prime's relationship with the Rescue Bots.
12 minute episodes that amounts to toy advertisement.
Samurai and Shinobi episodes are A side and B side stories. Given that Optimus EX Prime can combine with Samurai and Shinobi team leaders the storylines would merge in the climax episodes.

Copy and paste for the most part. Either the Samurai or Ninja Team plus the kid that found them fight off some baddy sprinkle some plot points and voila. Not bad but try and find subbed versions if they exist. Liked it at first but it got redundant with the formula for each episode.
Star Saber
I got the impression he's still Supreme Commander, but he was away, so the new Autobots are left on their own.
Soundwave2
Wait, so OP isn't the autobot leader in Go?
How is the show anyway? Kiddy?
Stepper
Most likely i will love the train/dragon mode but not the bot mode.
unicronic
Yeah I'm not touching this at all. I got seriously burned by the Samurai team that are basically bricks with minimum articulation.
This Prime looks to more of the same but worse.
Coffee
I actually really like the look of that.
Underwear
Anime magic, this poster looks more better than the actual toy.
Anyway looking forward to the toy release this month end.

Nippon Convoy! TORANSUFOHMAH!
QLRformer
Ah, anime.

While it's probably to be expected, I for one like the art and it's perhaps more flattering than some posts about the small photo of the toy would suggest.
Admittedly when I clicked on the link to this thread, there was some anticipation to see a video ad for this figure.
PoweredConvoy
Not sure if this has been seen here.
