Heads up for you Botcon fans who missed out on the book this summer in San Diego, now you can get your hands on the latest Timelines issue, Termination!
Complete with a new cover which features G1 Starscream, Megatron and Soundwave standing together, with a reflection below featuring their Botcon Machine Wars inspired bodies.
Looks like it’ll be at your local comic shop November 27th. Make sure to add it to your pulllist or talk to your comic shop guy to make sure they order this book, as it might be under their radar. While you’re at it, make sure they’ve got the shelves stocked up on IDW’s More Than Meets The Eye and Robots In Disguise which are arguably two of the best Transformers comic series of the modern era.

probably not. I already feel the comic stories are too short. 22 pages isn't a long time to create a story, they should try to figure out how to make a short trade, or maybe a slightly longer comic, something 60-100 pages, but that would cost more money for art, printing, etc. so i doubt that'll happen.
G.B. Blackrock
Absolutely agreed. Of course, due to the set page limitations inherent in comic-printing, to include both the preview pages (as we had seen them) and bios might have required that the original convention comic story itself be shorter, and I'm not sure most folks would have found that to be a good trade.
Lumpy
I like the inclusion of the preview pages, it's better than them only being online, but they shouldn't be the only thing added either. I'd love to see the book contain preview pages as well as a few new bios for the main characters. really make it something that feels of more value than just the con comic.
G.B. Blackrock
Yeah, that was a real disappointment. Most at least gave us bios, which I don't consider a substitute for new comic-fiction content, but at least it's something we haven't already seen.
Lumpy
I think last years just had the added preview pages, but nothing new.

There's been a few new story pages in the Diamond editions since at least 08. I don't recall further than that. The 06 version had bios for Max-cops. I remember that much.
Lumpy
it's just a reprint of the convention comic, nothing new storywise, though there might be some added bios and stuff.
LegendAntihero
I went to BotCon this year and I'm getting this new cover of the convention comic. I hope they continue the story in it.
zandergb
All of the reflections are clones of the originals.

Wonder if Soundwave on the cover is foreshadowing for a TFCC figure. I'd be down with that.
The Spider
That cover was originally for the Earth 2 hardcover, when they did the softcover edition, they had this new cover: JLA: EARTH 2 | DC Comics
I think that TF cover is closer to the softcover's posing.

No, I just saw it on the December order form right at the bottom (like it was added later).
Most likely it'll be out in November, but they weren't informed in time to put it on that order form or something.
Just checked it, and it does say 27th November on it, so that's the most likely scenario it seems
Lumpy
Did you see a different release date in the book? I heard December, but comixology had November listed, though that could always change.
Oracle_Aesir
I ordered mine on my comic supplier's December order form this morning, so I guess they didn't have it up for the November solicits in time or something.
Cadbane
I will get one just for the awesome cover art.

I used to get these regularly from my local shop, but then I mssed a couple, cant even remember which ones I have/dont have…
Autobot City Comics 2008
Still a sweet cover

Boy, these Diamond releases sure like to highlight characters who aren't actually in the comic. See also last year's Diamond cover:
Aberration
I agree. Also, assuming this is a nod to the cover of Grant Morrison's "JLA: Earth 2", that cover also had the alternate versions as the main focus.
Lumpy
Yeah, i really wish they had put the Machine Wars bodies on top, and had the G1 bodies as the reflection, since, you know, that's what entire idea of this story…
