Transformers has enjoyed a partnership with General Motors throughout the first three live action movies, and that is a trend which looks set to continue with Transformers 4! According to MLive, this weekend 10-11 August 2013 will see the on-location shooting of Transformers 4 head to GM’s Lansing Delta Township assembly plant. The plant is where the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave crossovers are made. According to GM this might be the first of many GM locations to be used, suggesting that Transformers 4 might involve the auto maker like never before. As always time will tell!

I agree.

This may seem close to impossible but I would love to see a 2014 Impala transformer. I love the car and owning a figure of it would be the closest representation of the real thing since $40,000 just isn't in my budget for a long while…
Astrocon
Maybe here is where they assemble the "human made" TF's
EpicTransformer
could be used as an Autobot base

Just becuz they use the gm plants don't mean the gm brand and plant will actually be in the movie. could just be a manufacturing company in the movie. Detroit in the movie is suppose to be japan or china or some asian city. so lets be open minded. it's not a gm commercial, but remember gm is writing paramount and dreamworks a big check to use their cars.

OMG!!!! that's what they were doing. I was just at the gm delta in Lansing, MI. my job a trucking company runs GM parts. there's put up road blocks by certain areas of the plant
TornadoQuakeX
I bet that's where

Me too. Hell, they could make it a Decepticon and change out the Phoenix graphics with a Decepticon logo. Would work perfectly. I almost did that with my Trans Am.
Although, I'd prefer it to be an Autobot.
tonyformer
It will be inside and a closed set but you may be able to see actors going in and out and or maybe a car or 2 that may be TFs
Deadsled
Holy $#!7 this is across the road (divided highway actually) from where i work!! I think I'll be carrying my camera in the car this weekend. Maybe if somebody important sees my car, I (or my car) could get a cameo!
Thank you.
tonyformer
Now that I would love!!!! I forgot all about that!

So in other words "One Big TV Commercial for GM",and here I thought it was bad enough with the first 3 movies now they have to go and show where Bumblebee,Ironhide, and Ratchet were made.I just hope Megatron or one of the other Decepticons blows the plant up early on so we don't have to watch an hour or so of that building.
EpicTransformer
probably be more drama to see more autobots die. If all the vehicles so far are all autobots (which I don't think they are) but if they are, I don't think we need more Autobots. I'd rather have the GM vehicles as more Decepticon soldiers. With each vehicle reveal, my wallet keeps crying Also I know there will be lots of CGI'ed vehicles (cybertronian vehicles) My wallet is so sad at the future it will see with all the figures next year lol

One thing I hope comes of this is that we get a few more common every day GM vehicles as TFs. I love all the fancy sports cars or military related TFs but I'd love to see a normal GM pickup truck or one of their crossovers. These don't have to be named TF but it would be cool to see a few normal soldier Autobots in there fighting with the Con soldiers. Honestly, that's what I'm hoping some of those cars are on the truck and trailer we see at the GM tech center. It's wishful thinking but I think it's time that we get some normal Autobot no name soldier filler for the movies lol

Could the movies stop being GM car commercials?
Fort Max
Shorthand for car transporter full of shit hot cars. It had a paramount logo on the cab and has been seen a couple of times but with no conclusive proof that it was for tf4.
Cars seen on the truck included a white Ferrari, an Aston and a couple of older gm concepts.
Valkysas
"Lansing".

Transporter full of exotics?
Fort Max
Still waiting to find out if that transporter full of exotics is actually in the film or not.
