More news on the Mark Wahlberg front tonight – it seems that Transformers 4 is going to be a true family production in that Mark Wahlberg is not going to be the only member of his family in the movie! Mark Wahlberg’s children visited the set in Detroit, Mark Wahlberg told Jimmy Fallon in an interview, and they were excited for their dad being in a movie for the first time ever, prompting Mark Wahlberg to ask Michael Bay if his kids could be in the movie. One impromptu audition later, and all four of the young Wahlbergs are going to appear in Transformers 4, possibly at scenes filmed in Chicago.

Of course it's not always a bad thing. Many, and I mean many, husbands, wives and children work together in Hollywood. It's just the way it has always been and the way it will always be.
Bumblethumper
that may be so, but isn't nepotism supposed to be a bad thing?
Or is it unfair to call Bay out on stuff like this because he's already so reviled and we should stop picking on him.
Underwear
I think you're overreacting.
SPLIT LIP
Well, you posted that, so i think we're good.
I love how this kind of stuff happens ALL THE TIME in movies, but because it happens in a Bay movie, "OMG IT'S ******ED SO STUPID."
*Once again, no matter how crude and offensive the fans claim Bay to be, they will always find a way to be even worse. Pot, meet kettle.
Because when someone says something positive in movie discussion, it's uncalled for and must be rebutted immediately. But if it were Prime discussion or anywhere else? TROLLING.
Sso02V
Maybe by putting his cousin's husband in the movies?
OH WAIT
MV95
Oh calm down. They probably won't even talk and'll get 5 seconds of screen time.
03Mach1
Because no one in the history of the world has ever gotten a job by knowing someone else.
Welcome to Hollywood, the nepotism capital of the world.
daitarn red
be nice to mr bay
TFXProtector
Do you people ever grow tired of using Michael Bay as your whipping boy? It's like no one can ever have anything positive to say about him and can't let anything go.
Sammael
No, it shows that he is a nice guy. From a directing point of view, casting someone just because they are related to one of the main actors makes no sense whatsoever.
AutobotMaster44
Aw! That's cool of Michael Bay to let his family be in the movie. That just shows how awesome a director he is.
SonOfNemesis
That's downright ******ed. Maybe we can feature his mom and cousin jim and his neighbors dog and Michael Bay's niece (all of these awesome proven actors). Hmmm…how else can we make this even more stupid?
Autovolt 127
What if Ted was a Decepticon the whole time?
optics
So…. Where the F*ck is Ted?
Nightrain
It's only logical to expect the worst.
Flexx Ark
Michael Bay is paying for Walberg's "child support".
TFXProtector
The only snap I want to hear is when you're made into a Pez Dispenser.
Optimist Prime
This. So many times this.
PrimusVsUnicron
indeed it is highly illogical
Lion
I highly doubt they'll talk….I didn't read the article, but it wouldn't be anything to make them some glorified extras (ie the Lucas family in AOTC)
