I'm disappointed that there are already 3 figures with multiple sets. But I was planning on building a clone army anyways, so I guess it's not that big of a deal for me.

Hmmm…. if that's true, perhaps the Hasbro people issuing the press releases at Toyfair should have been told – Hasbro Toy Fair 2013 Transformers Construct Bots Product Information – Transformers News – TFW2005
Hasbro Toy Fair 2013 Official Press Release – Transformers News – TFW2005
Until a Hasbro press release corrects that, I'm not sure what it is now, because major online stores should be correct if they get product lists from Hasbro.
Then again, the Hasbro staff at ToyFair may be wrong, as they appear to have been wrong about the Ultimate Predaking not being a Target exclusive, as there isn't any indication that this Target version is different to the version released in Australia – http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/919432-predacons-rising-exclusives.html
I actually spoke to the Product Manager at the Australian Toyfair about the name being awkward, and he seemed to be of the understanding that it was without the "a", because he was just as puzzled by it.
Incidentally, the early Gen1 toys had the allegiance symbols between Trans and Formers as well… but weren't representing a letter.

Those look interesting. I'm particularly interested in the car Blitzwing and the jet Bumblebee.
Satomiblood
I know not everyone is going to feel the same, but these are going to be a great source for customs as well as mixed construction brick MOCs.
Sol Fury
Our staff who were at Toy Fair were told it was meant to be "Construct-a-Bots" – the Autobot symbol in the logo is the "a".

Unless Hasbro did a last minute name change (we've already seen packaging displayed at Toyfair), I think BBTS have the name wrong – as it should be "Construct-Bots". If the name has been changed, perhaps it was from bad feedback over the awkwardness of the name, prompting them to add an extra consonant.
Spiderus Prime
Fixed!

Constuct-a-Bot is like lego technic, right?

I can't wait until these sets get released. I wonder if they will be compatible with the Bionicle/Hero Factory pieces. As a fan of both Transformers and Bionicle/Hero Factory this will be a perfect addition to my collection.
scoobsterinc
I don't mind these there more for kids then they are for collectors.
Dinobot Nuva
Waiting on Breakdown in one of the subsequent waves.
megatroptimus
Preordered Prime, SS, BB and Megatron.
Mechafire
Still excited for these.

Yeah like I said in the thread when people revealed the second wave, it's amazing how short of a time it takes for people to completely forget seeing things, we saw these quite a while before the Toy Fair.
I remember the crazies complaining about how they gave us dees Krappy LEGO Bionicle kayohs instud uh da propah BLitzwhing.
They look nice and maybe will pull people from other properties into Transformers.
Oh yes and shame on them profiting on a brand that they market and produce to coincide with massive media appeal and multiple outlets (I guess this is what the one guy is calling hysteria) to better draw in their core audience and borderline consumers to make money. (I guess this is the bastardize part?)
Also, there mommy and daddy are Hasbro so they do indeed have a father.
DuctTape3000
Super excited about these things. The love child of Transfomers and Xevoz? Yes, please.
From what I've read about these things the only difference between Scout, Elite and Triple Changers is the number of accessory parts in the set (they all have the same basic skeleton). According to the toy fair pics Starscream has 42 and triplechanger Bumblebee has 69. But grab a Wheeljack and Starscream and you'll have around 100 pieces and I'd imagine you'd be able to rig them in to a triplechanger.
Raiju
I'm very tempted by Soundwave and Wheeljack. Two awesome characters and their build figures look neat enough. I hate that Starscream and Ironhide are relegated to small basics while Bee is a triplechanger as big as Blitzwing (surprise, surprise, Blitzwing isn't offered as a standalone/single figure because of the shelfwarminess of the yellow menace in the same set).
I do see a lot of parts kitbashing potential with these sets.
An Army of Bees
Actually, these were revealed weeks prior to even seeing the Voyagers.
boxorak
Yeah, that's the price you pay for being a fan of a franchise targeted toward children.
Autovolt 127
You know Bumblebee having a flight based alt. mode makes more sense considering that real bumblebees his namesake can fly.
Thundershot
I'll get the Prime and Megatron for my Prime and Megatron shelves, but I'm sure they'll be in the stores cheaper..
