Originally planned for a release date in March, TV Shows on DVD is now reporting that Transformers: Rescue Bots is returning to DVD with the second volume being released on June 11th featuring five episodes from the first (and currently ONLY) season of the show.
Meet the TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS – CHASE THE POLICE-BOT, HEATWAVE THE FIRE-BOT, BLADES THE COPTER-BOT and BOULDER THE CONSTRUCTION-BOT! They’ve been given the task of going undercover to protect the good people of Griffin Rock, and learn the values of teamwork and the power of friendship by partnering up with the town’s first family of emergency responders: Fire Chief Charlie Burns, daring helicopter pilot Dani, hot-shot firefighter Kade, brainy engineer Graham and the heart of the team, Cody! On June 11, 2013, learn what it really takes to be a hero with the release of TRANSFORMERS RESCUE BOTS: ENERGIZE on DVD from Shout! Factory Kids and Hasbro Studios. Featuring five exciting, hilarious and fun-filled episodes, this DVD is priced to own with a suggested retail price of $14.93.

Shout factory has said on their forums that for shows aimed at this age bracket sell better in volumes rather than season sets. So most likely it'll be volumes, but at least it looks like they'll be working on putting out all the episodes.

Thanks for the information hopefully all seasons will be on DVD not just 4-5 episodes on one DVD

I feel like they missed out on a title opportunity here:
Big IV
i hate these kiddie/parent aimed sets with four or five episodes on it. Parents need to stop buying these in favor of series sets so they'll stop making them.

I do not buy volumes. Only complete seasons. So pass.

I wonder why it was delayed from it's original March 5th release date, as it means even longer to get a full set of episodes (or see a full box-set).

This is great, but are they planning on putting all the episodes on DVD as a Season One set?
