IGN has posted additional information about Transformers Prime Beast Hunters, direct from Hasbro and The Hub. First up is the confirmation that the series is coming to its end with this season, as we have previously heard – these final episodes will mark the conclusion of the Transformers Prime saga.
Second there is also confirmation that the series will be taking a break approximately four episodes in. We’re basing that figure on IGN’s report that starting Friday, April 19 (about four weeks after the season premiere) the first four episodes will be rerun in special encore presentations with additional content called “Autobits” – “behind-the-scenes trivia with exclusive in-picture commentary designed to create an immersive viewing experience.”
IGN then goes on to state that new episodes will resume in May. We’d imagine based on the pattern presented that this would fall around 17 May for episode 5’s airdate, but watch this space for confirmation.

I was with you until you said TFA is a horrible show. So, yeah.
Jericho
Animated is a whole different argument, and a horrible show. In Prime the only constant newly introduced character is Knockout. They've killed almost everyone else. Basically on this massive Decepticon warship you have a mute Soundwave, Megatron, Knockout and a ton of drone warriors. I get it, Vehicons are cheap and easy to produce, but c'mon, would it hurt anyone to just give us a pretty deep character base anymore?
CelticMutt
The break's not stupid if they're doing it because they want the season to end on a certain date.
Scorpio
Final word on this… the break is stupid – especially after making us wait for a conclusion + they will probably give us a 'Is Optimus really back? who is that shadowy figure?' kinda ending in regards to Optimus returning after 'death'
Scorpio
If anything the next series will be a short series and probably CGI – aimed at young teenagers again. Imagine Prime – but less violence

*back on topic*
At least we're getting 'fair warning' about the break….then folks can take chill pill long before it happens.

Autovolt, if you want to know more, look up Transformers: Battle Matrix on TFWiki, and Transformers: Universe (2003).
Escargon
Transformers: Battle Universe. It was on Hasbro's site, but after Net Jet system was uncontinued, it was unplayable. And Smokescreen vs Smokescreen was in a 3H comic, back when they had the liscense for BotCon.
Autovolt 127
What, where and when did all that stuff happen?
Escargon
Does nobody remember Universe, when Armada Smokescreen murdered G1 Smokescreen. That's got to be lopsided. And plus, TFA OP has the advantage of being smaller, and he defeated him (if you played as him), in that game pitting G1 Optimus Prime, G1 Megatron, G1 Starscream, BW Optimus Primal, BW Megatron, Movie Optimus Prime, Movie Megatron, Movie Bumblebee, TFA Optimus Prime, TFA Megatron, as they were summoned at the end of time to give the Matrix a new bearer.
Autovolt 127
I love when they fight between their ranks. the problem i have is Escargon's assumption that characters he likes will beat the crap out of character he does not like. I don't like Movie Prime at all but i know he'd murder TFA Optimus Prime in a second if they were to fight to the death.

-Slipstream, Lugnut, Blitzwing, the coneheads, Swindle, Constructicons, Lockdown (in a way), Blackarachnia…
-Knock Out, Breakdown, Makeshift, Airachnid, Dreadwing, Skyquake…
Don't confuse your dislike of characters with an absence of them. Where are seekers? They were there. Reflector, better characters to focus on.
Oh yes please, let us go back to G1 again…because Prime and Animated weren't RIDDLED with G1 references, homages and characters on top of other things. Sigh…
Looking forward to whatever the new series is and whatever new characters pop up in season 3 of PRIME =D!

If it'll be airing on Hasbro's Hub network, I doubt it. Just hope it doesn't model itself over the Hub's most popular show's art style, My Little Ponies.

I hope the next show will be a different series & design by Japanese

I agree. There are some characters that disappoint in terms of personality and changes. Bumblebee and Breakdown are perfect examples. Its really a matter of opinion. I'm satisfied with the majority of the other characters. You're not. I completely understand where you're coming from though.
Backpack
Sure throw that in my face. But you know what I mean…. In the contained story of the prequal trilogy… it is the story of his fall. It is a 180 in his story arc. To say a character should never change completely is wrong.
And, after 52 episodes…. I really do expect great changes in the characters…. not these little baby steps that we ended up with. Especially considering my point….. that having a small cast was done in the name of greater character development -which we didn't even get.

See, the thing about Prime is its terribly plotted. Developments that could give us insight into a character are not properly utilized and instead the season is made up of relic hunts and a conclusion that, while awesome, could have been achieved in half the amount of episodes.
But on an episode-by-episode basis? It's wonderfully entertaining and well written.
Take for example the CyLAS episode. Completely ended MECH, which was awful. But the episode itself? Bob Skir did a fantastic job with the dialogue and having all the various plot elements of the episode come together for a creepy conclusion.
And that's why I watch TFP. For the episodes themselves. I ain't in it for the long haul. I don't get myself invested in potential plot developments. That's for the ol' head-canon.

Part of what I wad trying to say
Backpack
I love it when Autobots fight with each other… it goes so against the grain it's interesting.
Like…
Brawn thinking Perceptor is worthless wimp.
Cliffjumper thinking Mirage is a traitor.
TFA Optimus vs. Sentinal
Dinobots thinking they are better than Autobots.
ErbFan28
I know what development is. All I was saying is that a character should never become a completely new person like you stated in your first post. Arcee is a great
example of what I'm looking for. Most aspects of her personality are the same aside from what was stated. Honestly, I'm happy with all the characters of the series….except Bumblebee. We know very little about him.
And I was extremely pissed about how they handled Breakdown's arc.
Also, Anakin essentially did a 360. Started good, went bad, back to good.
