Transformers Aligned Continuity Jazz Concept Design

Jazz---Bot-mode-final

It’s concept art time! Following up on the Sideswipe design he posted on his own blog, Emiliano Santalucia has uploaded three new concept art images of the Aligned continuity Jazz design. As with the Sideswipe artwork from last time, this piece of work is for a concept he did when working with Hasbro to develop a Transformers production and character bible for Hasbro, more than likely the master document detailing Hasbro’s Aligned Continuity project which comprises Transformers Prime, the Transformers War for Cybertron video games, and the Exodus novels series.

  1. Sideswipe80's Avatar Sideswipe80 says

This alone would have made Prime so much better. Instead we got Arcee and Bulkhead.

  2. HeroicC300's Avatar HeroicC300 says

Jazz and Sideswipe, plus Ironhide show a lot of flavor.

Anyone want to see something like art for an Aligned continuity Railspike or other "Outsider" I.E., non G1 character?

  3. Bountyan's Avatar Bountyan says

I don't like his proportions. He looks like a dwarf because of his head size in relation to the rest of his body.

Not... Really. In fact, he has a nice, almost TFA-ish look.

  6. Shark Jumper's Avatar Shark Jumper says

I like his upper body but hate his bottom half, it's too movie-ish.

    "No I want two..." q-q

  7. Ceric Neesh has no avatar! Ceric Neesh says

I really like how it's got elements of both Movie-verse Jazz (look at the shoulders and the legs) and FoC Jazz (The forearms, headlights, and chest in general). I'd have loved to see this onscreen.
