Next up, we share with you another gallery from the Transformers Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Wave 3. Here comes a Decepticon whose record for treachery and deceit is legend. Yes, tonight we share with you this gallery of Fall of Cybertron Starscream!
Fall of Cybertron Starscream is, in this fan’s eyes, level with Kickback for the best toy in the new assortment. His jet mode is suitably alien with a few nods to the various different interpretations of the design over the years. Robot mode is very good on the articulation with lots of movement in the arms and legs, nice big feet with sideways swivels to help with balance, but unfortunately as is par for the course now no waist swivel. The head, while capable of looking left and right, soon gets its vision interrupted by the shoulders, and the main torso is basically hollow from the way it forms from the jet mode. In my mind these are minor issues in what is one of the most fun little toys to come along in a while – Starscream looks great, holds poses well, and has a transformation which is a good balance between complex and intuitive. His weapon is cool as well, with a couple of display options which I have tried to capture in the gallery.
Check out the gallery by opening the link below. We’ve got some nice cool pictures for you to check out, showcasing robot and jet mode, comparisons with the War Within (Titanium), Galaxy Force and ShopTo.net exclusive Legends Class War for Cybertron Starscream. There’s also some pictures included in the gallery showing how Starscream looks wielding the Renderform Banshee Blade and wearing the third party Classics Starscream coronation gear – yes, it fits on this toy as well, not perfectly but good enough.

IIRC there was some grumbling about the size of Optimus Prime as compared to Crumplezone or another Cybertron Voyager, but nothing to the same scale as a similar shift now. A lot more observation that "huh, that's really small" and a whole lot less of the rage. It was a much more measured and objective analysis, though I'm probably misremembering and screening out a whole lot of the angst.

I'm amazed no one ever complained that in 2006 the Classics figures were smaller than Cybertron's figures…but then again people really really were blown away by a line like this.
menasor73ct
I hear that, when it comes to seekers I usually by both takara and hasbro versions
General Tekno
Get Takara's for game accuracy, and Hasbro's for IDW accuracy

Any way to flip this guys wings around to more resemble the tetrajets? You know… without major surgery.
menasor73ct
Ok my bad,I meant nobody except g1 soundwave is perfect.
And diaclone blue bluestreak …I'm going to go cry now lol!
menasor73ct
I for the most part pass on today's standards lol
I love the classics seeker mold, great headsculpt ,perfect proportions, the plane mode holds together really well, love the paint apps (except the two American Starscreams) never liked those null rays too much but nobody is perfect.

MP-11 is the dead ringer. I agree that Classics head sculpt isn't a bad representation and is pretty close and I don't fault it, as its the rest of the figure that doesn't really meet today's standards, not the face, but its not absolutely accurate.
menasor73ct
Nope the classics seeker mold headsculpt is the closest thing to the cartoons yet, dead ringer,I don't care too much about possibility ,the headsculpt is why I like it so much.
Girl Pants
I don't know how, but this toy makes me like this design more than I did in-game.
May hold out for the Takara version though. Partially because I have United WfC Megatron and Soundwave already.

I can't agree at all really. It bears a resemblance to the cartoon characters, no doubt. But its posability is poor for its age, the headsculpt is rubbish (doesn't really look like any of the Seekers much), the wings hinder posability even further, the null rays are too big… I could go on in minute details.
This thing beats the classics on posability and actually looking like the source material, can see that much already.

I love the classics seeker mold,it's not awful at all,one of my favorite tf molds ever.this Starscream is cool too though, actually I buy all Starscreams besides bayverse and animated.
Nemesor
Yep, this mold is a winner. And the comparison shot just shows you how badly we needed this figure. The classics Seeker mold is awful. I sold all mine as soon as I heard about them doing this guy. Even if it doesn't get official redecos as all of the original trio and coneheads, I'd rather do some naff custom jobs to create my own.
SHINOBI03
And they say they keep shrinking.

Very hollow, very weak! I may pick up UM but for sure gotta have Kickback!
Grimm
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I just picked this guy up and when you set him up with Megatron, Shockwave and Soundwave it looks awesome.
