Do you have an Xbox 360? Do you want Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, but for some reason don’t want to have a physical copy of it? Well good news! Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is now available for full download on Microsoft’s Games on Demand digital download service for the Xbox 360 for $59.99.

And IIRC Steam put it on sale for around 25 or 30 bucks last week too… and at least with Steam you *know* the digital copy can be used on other machines in the immediate future. Who knows whether PSN or XBL goes and tells folks that, once the new consoles are out, their old stuff *cannot* be uses. (Yes, I'm disregarding the outrageous price tag atm.)

They are? Crap, I thought $25 was a good deal.

This game was easily available over the BF weekend for $25 – I grabbed my copy.
I honestly think the lazy person that pays this price should be parted with their money.

I walked into Walmart on the afternoon of Black Friday and bought it for $25. Digital for $60? No thanks.
Driftx3
You can buy this new at Target for 35. And used at every game store for 35.
Why the hell would anyone pay 60 for an old game? SMGDH

Yep, I really like FOC. If the price were cut in half I might consider this as a download.

Completely agree.

..and considering the reason that the companies claim to WANT to go digital is to cut costs for discs and packaging, they are failing miserably. I think if I'm not going to get the physical contents, that price should be at least 1/2 of what it is.

I like to collect archives of things and find single hard drive one time installations a little insulting, like my money only rents a scrap of the product as long as the hard drive holds out; while the publisher gets to sit kooshy without the disc manufactureing costs. Granted because of piracy they have the right to restrict installations and take steps of protection as deeply as they want to go, its just I feel the practice looks to slighted at the expense of consumers to endorse.
Disc is superior. Download Inferior.
Prowl
Yeah it's been digital on ps3 for a while. Still prefer packaging and disc.
JoeHavok
Not sure why they don't offer it for less. I'm never paying full price for a digital download.
Nefud
$60, but I don't get a disc or packaging? Nnnnnnnope!
Autovolt 127
Cool. Still probably won't bother with getting the game.
