Our next new Transformers toy gallery for your enjoyment is this gallery of the Transformers the Ride exclusive release, Evac! Only available from Universal Studios, Evac is the star of Transformers the Ride, a new member of the Autobot team who takes visitors to the park on a journey that’s more than meets the eye!
The Evac toy is a rather cool little exclusive. He’s a complete new mold based on the character from the ride, transforming from a high-tech personnel carrier / the car from the ride into a movieverse styled robot mode. He fits right in with the movie toys too, particularly with contemporary releases from Dark of the Moon. He’s got decent amounts of poseability in the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees with a little side-swivel in the ankles to allow for wider poses. On the vehicle mode, the sides of the vehicle lift-up, gullwing style, just like the car on the ride. There’s no waist swivel in robot mode though, and no weapon or accessory either, though there are some 3mm clip points on the toy and 5mm peg holes in the hands as well.
All in all, Evac’s a cool little toy. He’s got a great look and fits in well with the movie series cast. Because he’s a theme park exclusive, he commands a bit of a markup on the secondary market and your mileage may vary on whether that is worth it. Certainly at original retail if you are a movie series fan, this one is a good addition to your Autobot side.

Just put mine up for sale for those who want one.
Attobot2006
why do movieverse bots faces always have to look so disfigured and gnarled up? otherwise, not too bad looking body I guess.
TylerMirage
Not too fond of the robot mode, but that alt mode is sweet!
Agreed.

Given how vague the community as a whole seems to treat the "classics" theme, I'd say damn near ANYTHING that's blue and has wheels makes a good CHUG Beachcomber to someone.
Me personally, I'm thinking he's too movieverse to fit in with WFC/FOC, let alone CHUG. May have to do the Bionicle test.
EmperorDinobot
Hey if anyone can get me one, pm me immediately.
bellpeppers
I personall don't think so.
sh002
I wonder if he'd make a good chug Beachcomber.
Galaxy Convoy
Still a nice looking fig, and this coming from a movie toy hater. Wouldn't mind having one myself.
I still wish Reprolabels or somebody would make decals of Evac's green tampo'd apps for Cyberverse Evac. It would really make the fig pop.
Autovolt 127
Pretty much my thoughts on Evac.
Personally I'll stick helicopter Evac if you so mind Hasbro.

Russianfan or bellpeppers, can you post pics of this guy next to WFC/FOC bots?
bellpeppers
Well, huh! I've had 3 of these in my garage and all this time I could have made a gallery of him for TFW. Shame on me.
Mine's gonna go on sale tho- have to pay off credit cards!
Phenotype
Look on eBay, there are a bunch on there. About $35 each.

Thank you, Sol!
Great photo from your side too! I'm very pleasanted, that they make gallery yet more beautiful!
When I started to make this gallery, I thought too (like many others here) that Evac is quite unexpressive. But it was misleading! A few days later I recognized, that he is a great photomodel and toy, he more than deserves his place in my humble collection

When the doors are open on vehicle mode it reminds me of M.A.S.K. and the awesome theme song from Robot Chicken!

Well, we're always looking for some help to fill in the blanks in the galleries, if you would like to check out the stickied thread in the Toy Discussion section or drop SydneyY a PM to find out more.

In my mind, this toy could almost sit in a WFC/FOC collection as one of the generic trucks. The only thing that really kills it are the Bayverse face and the Earth tires. I wonder what this would look like next to some WFC stuff.

This does make me wonder what one has to do to have his pictures of a toy used in a TFW Gallery, might try doing one of these as a skill test should there be an open slot.

Don't thank me, give the love to Russian fan! These are their pictures – I'm just doing the writeup to let you all know we've added them to the site

I **LOVE** this guy. I'm okay with the backpack when I realize it's supposed to be a big jetpack of sorts…and although normally I'm against huge backpacks…it doesn't bother me much afterall!
I'm glad I was able to get one of these with help from a local.
NEST SOLDIER
I really like the figure, and I'm glad that his alt mode is a closed cockpit design, versus the open top design from the ride.
