Transformers Prime Wins 2 Daytime Emmys

Prime-Autobot-Group_1324082277

Here’s some good news for Transformers Prime cartoon fans. We might all be eagerly awaiting those new episodes (they really left us hanging with that cliffhanger in Toxicity!) but the show continues to impress in a different way – with a second year of wins at the Daytime Emmy awards. Transformers Prime took two Daytime Emmys this year – the Emmy for outstanding special class animated program which went to the whole crew; and the Emmy for outstanding individual achievement in animation for Supervising Color Designer Christophe Vancher. That’s two years of wins for Transformers Prime now – can they make it three?

Congratulations to Christophe and the whole crew at the Hub – the awards are well deserved.

Not surprised in the least, Prime by far has the best CGI animation for a TV series... of all time.

Seriously, it's better than the first Toy Story. Maybe not animation wise, but the shading.

What about Green Lantern & Star Wars?

Way better then Green Lantern. I do think Clone Wars is better though.

No. Definitely not Green Lantern. Star Wars... maybe, but do they have giant robots transforming constantly?
Plus something about the texturing isn't as good as Prime.

Plus the humans in TFP don't have ridiculously large noses.

After looking over the winner list...I don't get all the animated love for Kung Fu Panda...it's okay, but award worthy? Okay.
