Maketoys have updated their site with new images and information on their Mobine – unofficial custom take on The Fallen. The numerous sockets around the toy have finally been explained as being Power Core Combiner sockets – Mobine when transformed forms two tanks, evidently one of them becomes a mass of guns and other weapons that can attach to Power Core Combiners using their combiner ports. Presumably looking at that last colored image the weapons also combine to form limbs for a main figure, which we are assuming is the second tank that has been shown (yet to be seen in color).
As for the colors, Maketoy has diverged from the usual Fallen style of black and brimstone for a more military deco. Perhaps like their green Giant a black version will eventually follow.

Thanks to the AliExpress Black Friday coupon codes, I have a copy of this guy coming for a….better…price than I could find him other places. Not cheap, but better.
I'm excited.

All parts used are from multiple Chaos/Paladin sets as @Matrix1981 stated.

One set comes with the figure if memory serves me. Looks to be a double set from all the parts all over the place.

where are those shoulder cannons from?

I wonder if there are any fan modes out there that have the Paladin tank and the Mobine missile launcher combined as one in vehicle mode?

That version of Megatronus came with the CW Blast-Off that had his proper alt mode.
Guns were Shapeways pieces for Power Core Combiners. No longer available though.

Very nice shots!
BTW what Titan Master is that from and we’re Sis you get those big Gatling guns?

Kinda necroposting, but got this guy now thanks to someone else on the board selling theirs, and I'm quite happy with him, aside from the hands.
Wonder how he's holding up in other people's collections.

Man… I was waiting for the longest time to pick this up from TFSource, but I waited too long and now it's gone.

If you don't care for the Paladin Scout's head popping off, you can readily store the PotP Megatronus Titanmaster into the chest slot. Who said The Fallen was Heartless?

It's been awhile since I've handled the figure, but I think the ones meant of the Autobot Cars would size up the best. He's in that Voyager/Ultra range. Plus his stock hands are rather over-large and meaty, so there should be a bit of leeway there.
greboguru
Ah yes. Well then, this would be a worthy customizing project… I wonder which 3p hands would be the right size to use? I don't have many of them myself…

Nope, the fists are not required for transformation. They're even removable, in fact, because at the base of the wrist is another PCC connector plug (attached to the hand, not the forearm).
From the pics on the front page, you can see that the fists just hang out on the back of the vehicle mode.

Question about Chaos Paladin: the hands
Do you guys think the hands could be replaced with 3rd party hands? Y'know, ones with poseable fingers, like the aftermarket ones for Masterpiece figures?
Orrrrr are the stock fists required for transformation?
crimsondynamo32
The legs I can comprehend, but what about the arms? How'd you manage that? lol
greboguru
I've been feeling the urge to remove this figure's standard fists and give him aftermarket hands with poseable fingers. Anyone have any thoughts on which ones I should buy to do this?

I just bought from sales threads here. I bought Utopia from someone and was just shooting the crap with him talking about all of the stuff I was looking for and he happened to have one he was going to list and added it on for a killer 50 bucks or so.
