Of course, soon is a relative term when it comes to all things X-Transbots. Anything introduced now might not see the light of day until 2017 at the earliest.

You have my attention. I just hope the transformation is fun compared to arkose. He needs posable hands too. Even for a mini bot, i always felt he was really outgoing and used his hands over holding a gun. I hope they can do that for this one.

Okay, for those interested, I'm told there will likely be a new X-Transbots Powerglide toy soon enough, so it's good it's sold out.
You can see the teaser on the back of the Apollyon box.

I got one new off of eBay at the end of last year. Very rare. I have seen them go for $150 unless you want to get a Wild Child white Decepticon repaint. It is a decent figure and I have had no problems. I got mine for $70. Acestoystore.com had it but is a dead link now. ToyModa I am not so sure anymore. You would hope this is redone and comes out again but I don't know. They definitely nailed the G1 figure and the transformation is simple yet effective. Mine is a version 2 that fixed some of the floppiness from the transformation tolerances. Arms are still weak with no real hands. The arms and hands were really an afterthought that simply retained the G1 look for alt mode and mimicked the toon for robot. It nails the toon look for masterpiece, some clever transformation bits for compacting and has a decent size but that is where the masterpiece comparisons end. It feels decent but not masterpiece. It passed that bar for me because I felt this was the only one we would see. If a slightly larger size enabled a more robust design I don't see how it could hurt. This is an A10 Thunderbolt. However, Seeker size is way too big in this case as opposed to the War Dog transition that did work. Look at the review videos on Youtube for a better understanding.

I will take Powerglide with articulated hands and a bigger version.

I wonder if XTB will reissue Glider like they are now doing with Wheelie v2.

I'd sell my Glider, if interested. It's not up to Andras standards, but there's nothing wrong with it. Certainly a great stand in, very G1 accurate.

There isn't a thread for Glider really, but I'll post this here. This Aliexpress seller with some good feedback is selling loose Wild Child figures, for about $31 shipped, for those interested.

What are the odds of a bigger v2 Powerglide with articulated hands and better QC?
Scaleface
Yeah, they seem to have abandoned the X series after Glider.

There were 2 runs of Glider, the second run has improvements, and removes the Autobot symbols.

The figure's name is Glider. I recommend doing some research before looking to buy. I think this is one I've heard horror stories about it, but I could be wrong. I've lost track.
I couldn't find any direct comparisons for Glider and Krank (I own neither), but here are a couple of similar ones to try and help figure it out. Both are in images with Generations Warpath.

Can Power glide still be bought somewhere, and how does he scale with Krank?

This seemed like the right place to ask. What ever happened to the X and XT series? While I was searching for pics for someone in the Sonic thread I found images of an X-Transbots Ironhide. After looking at the thread I can see why people complained about them, but there seems to be two whole lines of figures there is no trace of anymore. I went to their site and the X series only shows Powerglide and nothing else. It seems they are working exclusively on the MM series now. I didn't just assume they were dead lines because despite no direct link for them, the link to their Ironhide in the first post of the figures thread on here still works. Since I couldn't find anything (I tried) I figured I'd ask if those lines are dropped altogether or just on hold for now?
X-TRANSBOTS

Anyone know if this company is still producing toys?

I really like the sculpt on the Hasbro Powerglide, and it will cost at least five times less than the Transbots' offering so it's got that going for it .

yeah, only thing about the XTrans ver….so many screws showing…I do my feet like this on mine…

The X-Transbots Powerglide has a smarter transformation for the legs than Hasbro's upcoming toy. X-Transbots engines and fins open up and can fold into the legs, instead of having thruster/wing kibble.
