TFW2005 Member Starscreamsfan is bringing us a news and an image to prove that James Horan (voice of Transformers: Prime Wheeljack) mentioning Tony Todd (The Fallen of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) is the voice of Dreadwing for the said series.
He also mentions that Wheeljack is a recurring role.
With the photo (mirrored here on the news post) Mr. Horan says…
“Tony Todd, Bob Orci, and me at a party in Hollywood 5/24 to celebrate the Daytime Emmy nominations for the animated series, TRANSFORMERS PRIME. I’m recurring as the voice of “Wheeljack”, Tony is the voice of “Dreadwing”, and Bob is exec. producing, along with partner Alex Kurtzman. This is the team that also gave us the newest TREK movie, and is currently working on the second!”

The Real question is is he a big brute?
Sockie
Yeah, that's pretty fake. When IMDB and Wikipedia give stuff without sources, it's almost always not real.

Okay, I know you shouldn't trust IMDB for ANYTHING but I thought I'd show this (and post in a topic with Tony Todd in it to save me more embarassment like with the Hub schedule)
"Transformers Prime" 1.21 (TV episode 2011) – IMDb According to this, Dreadwing, and a few other characters will appear in episode 21. Considering that the episode title hasn't even been established, I'm leaning towards fake but just in case. I'm gonna look for better evidence. Wish me luck.
Edit: Found a link http://www.seibertron.com/energonpu…565.php-&sid=72783def7c9282d818439dc799d19a70 but this uses IMDB as a reference…

I could see him appearing in the first three episodes of the second season… or the last five minutes of the first… Either way, poor Ratchet.

I'm going to guess that it's a season 2 thing. Or perhaps a very late season 1 episode thing. Didn't the BotCon panel state that they were currently recording for episode 16 of season 2? And this news of Todd in Prime was relatively recent, so a season 2 character seems most likely. That's my guesstimating.

Now I just wonder if Dreadwing is a season 1 character or his recording was for season 2.

You mean give him FLAME ON powers? That'd look cool for his first appearance, but I'd have issues taking him seriously and not giggling a little bit everytime he appeared on screen after.

I think wheeljack will become part of the main cast.
Prowl 2009
Agreed!
Interesting story btw, looking forward to Dreadwing's appearance.

Not to butt in, but maybe The Fallen could have PURPLE FYAH stuff coming out of him, like Strarscream did in Shadowzone? Just a thought.
Railguard
I like it, but give him a better role so we can see what kind of character he can develop.
janeDoe001
But then we'd probably get bored of him. Anyways there's still a chance of him bringing the rest of the Wreakers to Earth with him.

I kinda wish Wheeljack would just became a part of the main cast instead of just showing up every once and again to help out.

I liked the explanation in that ROTF Source book written by Simon Furman.
The Fallen's glowing flames come from the fact that he's so devoid of morality and cruel that the dark powers inside him leak from any armor opening.
Overlord Balder
Yes but…ORANGE!
What's your suggestion?
SPLIT LIP
…
You do know I just mean like the cracks and holes like on teh movie mdoel, right? I don't mean be entirely orange like teh target redeco.
Maybe but after WFC where both sides glowed the respective good/bad colours, and Soundwave who glows purple constantly and the Zombies, you'd think the Dark Energon master whould have something I little special going on?
Overlord Balder
So make him GLOW ORANGE? That's even worse, Split.
But, really? I find it cool to picture movie-verse Fallen with a purple light on his eyes, throat and all "openings" of his armor.
Exactly.
SPLIT LIP
Oh, I know.
I just think it would look lame. :I Maybe make him SUPER Dark Energon master, and Super Dark Energon is red/orange.
Maybe. It happened so fast, one minute he was all "Oh shit, my harvester!" and the next "why is my skull so cold?"
Overlord Balder
But…glowing purple is a trait of Dark-Energon Poisoned people [Megatron's entire face was like that in Darkness Rising].
Maybe he was so close to his millenia-awaited victory that he went a bit nuts and thought "YOU CANNOT STOP ME NOW, PRRRIIIME!" instead of actually thinking in doing what you suggested.
SPLIT LIP
The Dark Energon master thing would be cool except for the glowing purple. The Fallen glowing purple would be pretty lame. He'd look less "buring inside/organically lit" and more like a standard Decepticon like Soundwave.
Also your theory about Prime's being immune to his powers is cool, but it doesn't explain why he didn't teleport or throw object at Prime in the final like he did not five minutes before. But apparently the final battle was so rushed out the door they didn't have time for much outside of "Prime beats them up."
