While all attention is currently on Transformers Prime (episode 4 today! Whoo!) Simon Furman has continued to post summaries of the story of how Transformers Energon would have ended. Issue 32 would have kicked off the first part of the “Armageddon” plotline heralding the beginning of the end. Starscream would finally have made his appearance in a very different role to how he was in the cartoon series, Alpha Quintesson’s scheme would take shape, and the treachery of Avalon would cost one character – and perhaps all Cybertron – dearly.

Wow.
I can't believe I'm getting excited by the story all over again.

I recall not being too impressed with the Energon comic at the time, but this makes it sound like things were going to get interesting. It would have been cool to see Energon Grimlock and Swoop in some kind of media too. Oh well.

Wish I would have seen many scenes visually – they kick ass!

I agree the Energon cartoon blew (all of the Unicron Trilogy did), but I was under the impression that each part of that trilogy had a planned life span?
