The first answers from the latest round of Hasbro’s Transformers Q&A are filtering back to various sites and with it some news on upcoming Transformers releases.
First of all, there’s news on a new Walmart Exclusive two pack. We knew about both toys that we suspect are involved, but here is the confirmation, as posted in a response to CoolToyReview – Walmart will be getting two exclusive Transformers Movie series Two Packs, each containing a Voyager and a Deluxe. Images have already surfaced for the first, containing Starscream and Mudflap. The second which we’ve suspected for a while contains Ironhide and Bonecrusher. Granted, we don’t know which Ironhide and Bonecrusher toys these might be – but we’ve seen images of an unknown blue Recon Ironhide and an unknown Battle Damaged Bonecrusher. There’s also that one listing for a “Fury of Bonecrusher” two-pack. Could these be destined for the same two pack?
Also revealed in the CoolToyReview response is another exclusive – Costco will be getting an exclusive pack with Battle Ops Bumblebee and a pair of Legends – Mudflap and “Premium Bumblebee”. We’re not sure what this Premium Bumblebee Legend is, so stay tuned to TFW2005 for more news on what he might be as it becomes available.
On a sour note though, The Allspark got to be the bearer of bad news. Asking about the Challenge at Cybertron set, which was initially rumored to be a Target exclusive, they received a response that the set is actually an Asian market exclusive and is not planned for a US release.
B’Bantor
No Challenge at Cybertron eh? But there will be more TFTM Re-paints way to Hasbro.

True, but "no plans" means at least means not this or next year.
GizmoTron
BBTS has the set for $54.99, even with shipping that's still not so bad, especially considering people want almost $40 for just Classics Rodimus, what's another $20 or so for two more figures with all three having superior color choices than the originals?
And anyway, "no plans" doesn't mean "never". A lot of former Asian-exclusives and paintjobs started out with Hasbro having "no plans" to release them, but those plans eventually changed. So maybe they will again?
Burnout
man thats a buncha crap. They should give us that damn 3 pack over here…especially for those of us who cant get a freakin' classics hot rod and god knows hasbro isnt gonna make a new…better more articulated one. Buncha bastids!!
optronix72

Insecticon
No Challenge at Cybertron set? aww…
That looks like a really nice set too…
Darn, I really wanted that set released here…I'm not willing to pay import prices for it though. I need to cut back on my spending.
Aw well, less money spent.
Angelwave
Oh, Hasbro UK…..*shakes head*
Thanks Waverider.
Waverider
It came from this post.
Angelwave
I've still been trying to figure out how Target even got into the equation…..
True…but even those chances seems to be incredibly slim. With Hasbro saying this now, and it's only just over a couple of months before Black Friday, and with no retailer assigned to it……yeah….that's a no go.
Waverider
True dat…
TFSource and ToyArena is sold out and BBTS has only 75 left.
G1_Cindersaur
better just get the damned package now…if you all quibble and wait…it will go out of stock and then the price will just climb on the after market….
on a side note…crystal rodimus is the BOMB!
just got my sons of cybertron set today….very nice….optimus is even 1/2 way ok too.
Waverider
It was always $54.99. $39.99 was one of the prices thrown around by wishful thinking fans on how much the set would cost if it was released in the US.
This still might be a surprise item as a "Black Friday" item.
Computron34
Wasn't the price for the 3 pack like 39.99 or something through places like BBTS and TFSource? Up to 54.99 now. Although I could be completely wronf about that.
Waverider
Why all the buthurt?
As I said in another thread:
There was no indication that this will be released in the US market. The only thing that was mentioned was from an AA news update that was later corrected. Here was the post.
Emperor Zarak
*sheds a tear because of how expensive it will be to get the Challenge At Cybertron*
Knightsword
A 3 pack of Hot Rod, Galvatron, and Cyclonus in 86 Movie/Cartoon colors.
Waverider
No, but Ironhide is.
Kaijumaster
No challenge at cybertron? That is the height of BS-ery.

You seem to think that Arcee was on the pegs long enough to have anybody other than hardcore collectors see them.
