Entertainment Earth has posted a pre-order for the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen NEST Battle Pack, which we already knew would contain repaints of Cannon Bumblebee and Soundwave. The pre-order features the first look at the packaging, which reveals that the official names of the repaints are Battlefield Bumblebee and Infiltration Soundwave. The biggest surprise, however, is that the NEST Battle Pack will feature an offer for an exclusive figure. The box indicates that the offer details are on the side panel of the box, which can not be seen in the image. Could this be the return of the mail-away Transformers? Check out the packaging by clicking on the thumbnail to the left.

Not all sadly. (At least not for me)
The latest G.I.Joe one (25th Anniversary Doc) was a pain for me. I had to e-mail and call Hasbro customer service several times. I even ordered the figure twice thinking that it was lost in the mail. In the end – after I provided proof that my check was cashed by Hasbro – I received my figures; but it was fairly problematic for me … what with me living outside the U.S. and all that.
I've ordered some mail-away stuff from Hasbro (the Indiana Jones one, unmasked Storm Shadow, 25th Anniversary Doc, George Lucas, etc.), and none of those have been open to people from outside the U.S. The only reason I've been able to order the figures is because I have an address in Florida.
I really hope it'll be a deluxe, but I think it'll be a scout or smaller.
EDIT: And that's what I get for being behind in the news. It was already revealed to be a Deluxe! D'OH!

If it's like the recent Star Wars and Indy mailaways, the figure itself will be "free", but we'll pay for shipping and handling. They've worked like this:
1. Buy 4 to 6 specially-marked toys.
2. Either cut off UPCs or peel off stickers included with those toys.
3. Mail in UPCs/stickers, a completed form (included in the marked packages), and a check/MO for S&H.
S&H has been $5.99 to $6.99 for all the mailaways I've done. I'd estimate the retail value of the exclusives at $9.99 to $15.99 (if they were a mass-release toy). New mold-ness has been variable. The George Lucas Stormtrooper had a new head and (maybe) helmet on a reused body mold. The Indy Crystal Skeleton was a totally new figure and throne. The recent Qui-Gon Jinn w/ Eopie has no new parts, as far as I can tell. And the upcoming Clone Wars Nahdar Vebb looks to be a completely new mold.
I'm guessing the mailaway will be a redecoed existing Deluxe mold. MAYBE we'll get a new head or weapon, but I'm not holding my breath.

i done have both of those figures but i need newer ones
Ratchet2007
I have no clue about the Star Wars and GI Joe stuff so that's why I'm asking
Ravenxl7
It could be. If the most recent mail-away stuff was available to the UK (Star Wars & GI-Joe have been some recent ones), than this one should be. I'm not sure if those most recent offers have been, though someone on here is bound to know.
Ratchet2007
So will it be available in the Uk ?

I guess it depends on what else is required to get the mail away fig. More money or totally free? If it's entirely free and you just have to mail in the coupon or whatever, then it's probably just a Legends fig or something.
Angelwave
Well hopefully they will do something decent to actually get the incentive going.
Sol Fury
The exclusive won't be a new mold. It'll be a repaint, Deluxe or smaller as it's the first one and Hasbro will be trying the waters a bit.

Unless I missed something, I'm surprised nobody considered that elita-1/flareup could be the exclusive. Wouldn't THAT be a bitch…
Dirt Boss
It would be awesome if dispensor is the mail away fig.
Thundershot
I'm actually hoping for the mail-in to be a red Legends Rampage or Gray Legends Demolishor…

I'll have a full gallery/review up on Monday.
Personally I like Infiltration Soundwave's satellite mode a little better than Black Soundwave's, since it has more color to it.

Robot Points or GTFO.

Great pics, Optimus747! That blue Soundwave is as good as mine! Could we get pics of them side-by-side in satellite mode?

For me, the glory days of mail away are long gone. Back in the '80s, it was great that I could get figures from 3-4 years prior that were no longer in stores. Now, everything is merely a mouse click away. Mail away was a glorious thing back in those times. Not so much now.

^ Okay, now with THOSE pictures I can clearly tell the color is blue, and not some kind of greyish black. So thanks for the pics.
Edgewise
Low expectations? Hmm… perhaps this is just a more visible advertisement for the Transformers Collectors' Club … and the included membership figure.
Optimus Prime
Similar, but more subdued, dull blue and red (looks brighter in the pic than it does in person).
