A member of ACToys has got his hands on the upcoming Walmart exclusive Masterpiece Skywarp, and has kindly posted a few in-hand images. In addition to showing the jet and robot modes, these new images show both of Skywarp’s heads, indicating that he will be using the same faces as the previously released Masterpiece Starscream and not the “high handed face” from the actual Masterpiece Skywarp release. Click on the link above or the title of this story to see all the images.

Can anyone who has the Canadian release post the UPC?
Blackout32
When is the MP Skywarp suppose to come out because I am sooooooo eager to get my hands on this one.
MrFX
I hope they don't wait until Black Friday. Wal-mart is going to be a nightmare, and I have no intentions of going out to shop on that day or the weekend after.
Bgrngod
He was labeled at Botcon with a tag saying "11/1/2009" but obviously that's not the case… so.. any time now in the US? I fear a Black Friday release because I will be in Maui on my Honeymoon then and I am sure they will vanish by the time I get back. But at least I'll be in Maui so it ain't all bad.
Dran0n
When will he be released
Bgrngod
Yes, but you are in Canada. We are still looking for US sightings
Vince
I saw 8 or so of them sitting on the shelf at my local walmart last week…I went back today and they were all gone
Angelwave
Ahh well….as much as I want him it isn't a rush. Can save up a bit more cash while we are at it too.
David Hingtgen
My money has been on "holding him back for Black Friday" for quite a while now. I'd bet he's in the distribution centers, but purposely not at the stores yet. (because it's highly unlikely that both Canada and the UK actually got them first—they merely put them out first)
grimlock1972
still haven't seen him at my local wal-mart
Bgrngod
Anyone seen this figure today yet? Wasn't it supposed to be released on 11/1/2009? (That's today for those of you not paying attention)
MrFX
Woooow you must really hate Wal-Mart to wait that long. I'm glad that you got him in the end, though.
Megaprime80
I can't believe some of you found him on clearance. I only find him at one WM in D/FW area and never again. He was really hard to find around here…at least to my knowledge.
Can't wait for MP Skywarp!
thedrknss48
I really really hate shopping at Wal-Mart, I basically never do. I held back on MP Starscream because of that and once I heard he hit clearance I ran to Wal-Marts around me but never found him. Had to get him off Ebay. This time, regardless of my Wal-Mart hatred, I'm gonna get MP Skywarp right away. If I see him hit clearance later, I'd pick up another for possible sale/trade.
MrFX
It's a toss-up…you can wait and hope that he makes it to clearance, or you can go ahead and buy him as soon as he's available and not have to worry about missing him.
Depends on how bad you want him, I guess. I'm definitely going with the latter.

Not true, I have one MISB that has the Wal-Mart $25 sticker on it still.

Don't use Site-to-store if you want to keep a good MISB. From past experence, It comes in a slightly bigger brown box, but they don't use bubble wrap or anything else in the brown box. Also most of the time, the figure boxes are always dented or smashed in some way.
As for the shipping label, I thing only when you ship the item directly to your house is when they put a label on the package, they never put one the figure box with site-to-store.
MrFX
Exactly. Since I have the Takara SW, I'm planning to keep him MISB anyway, all the while waiting for the eventual U.S. release of Thundercracker.
I'd use site-to-store, except I don't know if they would put him in a bigger box (considering the bottom part of the package can come off rather rather easily) or if they would simply throw a shipping label right onto the back of the bio card and ship him out with no packaging. MISB would be officially kissed goodbye.

Good points all around. I just can't say no to this mold, so I'll probably end up getting at least one, despite my issues with it.
