TF08.net has posted an in-package image of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Rampage in package. These in package images show the cardback for Rampage, including the Decepticon’s bio and also an image of a previously unseen third “Jackhammer mode” transformation. But what Transformer could be gigantic enough to wield a giant jackhammer?
Check out the image by clicking on the title bar of this topic or by clicking on the link above. You can also see the bio by clicking on the title bar or by clicking here to visit Deluxe Class Revenge of the Fallen Rampage’s resource page.

A friend of mine who's very pissed at the whole non combining thing brought up a good point. Why did Hasbro waste time with third modes instead of making a merger.
Anyways I love this figure and I can't wait to get it.
All we need is one those hobby sites to sell a kit that allows us to merge the robots!

If all 6 constructicons are this flexible, perhaps we can combine them !
Even, this giraffe mode looks more potent than the jackhammer mode, especially since it already goes well with the colour scheme. Isn't it ironic though, that we fans could see the giraffe mode, all hasbro could come up with was.. " stand on your toes.. jackhammer" mode.
In any case, given the flexibility of the two constructicon individual figures, it might still be possible to combine them into devastator !
HECK I am banking on that possibility !
Maybe it will take a little kitbashing… but as long as they make the other individual constructicon figures as flexible as these first two… we might get our 3 foot tall devastator after all !

They can work in a useless third mode, but they can't get a combiner mode out of it?
Lame.

I like Rampage, but I'd rather his third mode be Devastator's leg and not a jackhammer.
Beanshi
well, soundwave's supposed a to be a triple changer too, and rampage's Jackhammer mode just looks mid transformation sequence too me. or i maybe completely and utterly wrong.

i like how all the CCs have similar heads (so far) and i LOVE how theyre all non-humanoid type bots, cept long haul (so far)
SoundFire Prime
He's jackhammer and a bulldozer?! Well, so much for the "no triple changers in Revenge of the Fallen" thing.
Laser_Optimus
Be nice… as long as we get something that's not a pile of scrap as the figure for the combined mode. Meh… sorry… still very dissapointed and upset about the Devastator 'Transformer combiner'. Bleh.

Did you need three posts for this? Interesting way to start off your posting history I suppose.
I bet the Autobots get some kind of big-ass gestalt in the 3rd movie. Superion would be the obvious choice.
Laser_Optimus
Rampage looks… interesting… going to have to see more of this in person. I swear I'm not going to fall into the hype and mindlessly buy these guys this time.

Well thats where we can differ in opinion. You like Rampage and I think he sucks. That doesn't make my opinion wrong or yours for that matter. Also let me clarify. I don't think ALL ROTF figures suck, just basically all constructicons thus far. Long Haul will probably be the exception for me cause he looks classic and he is actually a bipedal robot.
And the post after "FU HASBLOW" is pretty much some thoughts directed at hasblow. I may have gone off the deep a little bit, but oh well…I am a TF collector after all.

Ram pages saw some. Pass it on.
Breakaway-Rocks
Okay, we have Devastator now all we need is Superion
Breakaway-Rocks
I honestly think the jackhammer mode is kina shitty, other than that he rocks!!!
Breakaway-Rocks
I think we need some classic characters coming back like hound and silverstreak
WarMachine73
Use your imagination, it has a "limb" mode!
Jackhammer though??? If it wasn't for the simple fact that I have to remember to think along the lines of the traget demographic I would feel well and truly insulted by this. Aside from his "alternate" alt mod, this is a cool looking figure. I grew up around heavy equipment and I must say that I am impressed with the research Hasbro and Paramount have done with the Movie Transformers. Whether or not Devastator actually combines I plan on trying to get as many of these "Constructicons" as I can. My Wal-Mart exclusive Grindcore needs some new playmates.

To be honest, I have a feeling that Rampage will be used by another decepticon (Long Haul, perhaps, as he has a typical bi-ped robot mode) as a giant, flipping jackhammer with massive power to unearth The Fallen who is buried under the Pyramid(s). That is a A LOT of damn stone and rocks to work through to get to a decommissioned robot that simple punching and tossing won't get you.

Looks cool.
