Actoys member Star of Cybertron has posted the first images of a Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon. The Constructicon is a red and white steam shovel, although it is not yet clear whether he is one of the rumored individual release versions or from the possible Devastator giftset. The images do not show the robot mode, but several robot parts including the head are visible, giving a nice idea of what this new Transformer could potentially look like in robot mode.
Update – several new images have been posted by Vansch over at HK-TF.com, showing what appears to be the correctly transformed vehicle mode. An additional image from ACtoys.net also shows a much clearer look at the head concealed within the toy.

Entirely possible. I'm not an expert when it comes to construction equipment. But if it IS the RH400…it gets even BIGGER

hit me today why the toy's Alt mode doesnt seem as realistic as its RL counterpart compared to the TF1 toys-its cause in TF1, the really realistic toys are essentially shellformers, or one step up from them. this toy doesnt seem to do that, which is why the result is more kiddish

With how big the constructicons may be after combining 7 of them, that could very will be Devestators hand saw….

I think its an Terex O&K RH400
The EX8000 isn't in the list of vehicles from TWF Insider, who's been quite right on alot of spoilers.
O&K/Terex RH400 – Hydrolic Mining Excavator – (red)
Caterpillar 992G – Wheel Loader – (yellow)
Caterpillar 773B – Dump Truck – (green)
Mack Cement Mixer – (silver/white)
Komatsu HD465-7 – Articulated Dump Truck – (red)
Kobelco CK2500 – Truss Crane – (yellow)
Caterpillar D9L – Bulldozer – (beige)
Edit: I believe the RH400 is also the world's largest hydraulic excavater
Maximus_Prime
well they made all the mass shifting that went around in G1 helped out a lot. I mean all the Constructicons formed while inside Astrotrain
Anyways, I can't wait to see more Constructicons for sure

Talking about vehicle sizes…
How EXACTLY was Menasor THAT freaking big?! He had small cars legs and truck torso!
Enigma2K2
I never realized how BIG some construction vehicles were… Devastator could be truly monstrous…

For those curious…this guy is based on the Hitachi EX8000
1,719,600 pounds
35 feet wide.
32 feet high.
2 Water-cooled, 4-cycle,16-cylinder, turbo-charged and air-cooled, inter cooler, direct injection chambertype diesel engines rated at 1,880 horsepower.
Max speed of 1.2 mph.
And it's only one part in 7 of Devestator.
He's going to be frikkin ENORMOUS.

Looking at the DVD cases behind the toy, I assume it is a Voyager Class. And I think it won't have a separate bot mode. All the 7 toys won't have bot modes. I can imagine this at the movie. We won't see bot modes from every constructicon. They transform just to combine to form Devastator (the name probably will change, because Brawl was known as Devastator in the 1st movie)… It's my oppinion…

The toy looks pretty cool. However, we should reserve judgement until we see the final product. Without having knowing what the official robot mode looks like, it is difficult to say how large and proportional it is compared to other toys. We do not even know what am ROTF Voyager class box looks like.

Oops, sorry… forgot to add something for the sensitive ones…

Apologies for not liking your silly looking Batman… but I was brought up on TAS… what'd you expect?
Seriously, I find it hi-f*cking-larious that I get ragged on for that, yet being told "Please stop saying dumb things. One has nothing to do with the other." doesn't seem to bother anyone.

Yes, I will allow it.

Will certain people allow this thread to get back on topic, please?

Even if you disagree with someone's post, there is no need to take it on a personal level. We would not want the moderators to lock the thread. If you disagree with the argument, attack the core argument, not the one making it. There is no need to go this far in berating the individual.
The movie line is just another Universe in the Transformers world. Even though the Movie line pays some homage to other lines like G1, they are in no ways bound by it. It is the job of the director and his crew to create an entirely new universe that can appeal to a general audience in the contemporary world. Personally, the movie line is my favorite (you can see my colleciton as proof). There are certain reasons why people like the movie line, such as having characters that do not look like cartoons, alt modes based on actual real-life vehicles that we can relate to and size, and since they look life-like, they can be really be scary monsters (especially Decepticons). Since the movie is a seperate universe in itself, it never has and never will affect the other toy lines. You can completely avoid the movie and still like other Transformers lines, or you can like the movie line in addition to the others. I do not think that it is that difficult to choose either one. If the presence of the movie and the corresponding toys are causing you feel psychological pain, there is nothing anyone can do about it because it is already here. People have to learn to GET OVER IT.

Wow, I can't believe how full of shit you are! Seriously? Think it's easy to create transforming robots in a real movie (not a cartoon)? Unless you come from the future where transforming robots are normal in your average day life, I think the creators did a pretty damn good job on the movie transformations, if only for the fact that we don't have that kind of technology and they managed to make it at least movie-believable.
You and your cat can shove your sub-intelligence right where the Richard Gere doesn't shine, mister.

That's mostly because realistic space isn't very dramatic. A lot of things in reality aren't very dramatic.
Now art~
DieMaus
Are you actually asking for visible seams in vehicle mode, a la Universe Ironhide? You must have been really disappointed by…well, pretty much every incarnation of TF fiction ever, because I can't remember a single comic or show that's ever displayed visible panel lines on alt-modes. Probably because it would look godawful.

he apparently thinks TFs are "high" art or something that needs to be perfect. *sweat*
