The official Transformers website has updated with official in and out of package images of Alternators Rodimus. A repaint of the Ford GT mold it will be a limited edition exclusive only at Comic Con in San Diego, July 26-29, 2007, while supplies last, for the suggested retail price of $24.99. Rebelliously saying "These gloves came free with my toilet brush!"

I like the hands… They stand apart from the other designs, true to the characters rebellious nature.
Superquad7
It seems this is becoming a yearly event to do *sigh*

A lot of people are saying they like KP better with the white stripes but I feel the opposite. The white stripes didnt feel like Hot Rod to me, but the flames definitely do, and I think they're applied fairly well, so it's a plus. Besides, the flames arent the worst of his issues; the red thighs and yellow hands are.
Anyway, I've said it before, but I'm really hoping this gets released in Asia and Australia the way NP did. That way there'll be a flood of them on ebay and everyone who's willing to pay for one will be able to get it. But if it's an exclusive in the truest sense of the word, then I might be worried. But I want one, by whatever means.

Looks like I'll be on the phone and the website at the same time that morning.
Gears
Nice!
Aberration
I'm guessing this was because Hasbro couldn't or wouldn't give those numbers to Comic-Con at the time that they went to press.
MagnusPrimal
After seeing him, I'm even less bothered that this is an exclusive. Am I the only one not very impressed by this?
Dragonclaw
I would have rather had it in the light blue w/orange stripes (Classic GT40 colors) as Blurr
And yes, last year was a limit of 2 per customer, hopefully they orderred a WHOLE LOT more!)
and PLEASE…I've allready had to empty my PM box on 2 boards (Thankfully the 3rd doesn't allow PM's)…If the limit is 2 I'm buying 1 of each for me and one of each for a close friend…IF I'm able to get them at all (After last year I'm definately not so confident) so any I MAY be able to get are spoken for.
Sonscreen
ooh pretty red Ford GT! This is another Hasbrotoyshop fiasco waiting to happen.
Nerdling
Notice on the scanned CC thing with the 3 toys that Rodimus is the only one that doesnt have a limit in terms of how many will be available. Maybe they will make a ton and have enough for everyone.
And maybe not…
Gigatron_2005
Thats been the secret to the Alternators line this whole time! It makes so much sense now!
Smokescreen
I'll definately be trying to get one of these. I'll try the website first and if that doesn't work then the phones. If I still can't get one, I have a friend at work who's actually going to Comic Con. I'll just give her the money and ask her to pick one up if she's able to. And if that all fails, well, then…ebay. One way or another, I will have Rodimus!
Nerdling
Oh yes, the basic principles of supply and demand
Superquad7
The limit on Alt Nemesis Prime from HTS was 2 as well; I'm assuming the same for Alt Rodimus, though the rep at HTS didn't know anything concerning Alt Rodimus when I called . . . *gasp*
ShortCircuit
Act like we don't like it and theyll make more.
airfox
Want… but I already have the KP and if this follows the route of Nemesis Prime, it'll be a pain to get one.
Time will tell.

Doctor Ingenious
Looks awesome. yay hasbro!
Nerdling
I was half kidding. I think I might have my brother or a friend buy a couple for me and I'll put them on ebay. After that, the price is out of my hands.
WhiteMocha
The limit last year on Nemesis Prime was two per customer. They punched a hole in your Comic Con Pass when you bought them, to make sure you didn't come back the next day and buy more.
Of course, you could always just borrow someone else's ID, if you were THAT intent on getting multiples, I suppose.
